Client Reviews
Marcus Wentworth
UK National — Bangkok
Setting up a limited company in Thailand as a foreign national is more involved than I expected. Orchid Accord walked me through every stage — BOI, tax registration, the works — without ever making me feel lost. The process took about five weeks and I understood what was happening throughout.

Supaporn Thanawit
Founder — E-commerce, Bangkok
I needed a supplier agreement reviewed before signing. The turnaround was quick and the summary they included alongside the contract was genuinely useful — I could see the areas that needed renegotiating at a glance. It saved me from agreeing to terms I would have regretted later.

Rainer Kessler
Managing Director — German SME, Bangkok
We moved to the corporate retainer after our initial contract work with Orchid Accord. Having a legal team that already knows our business makes a real difference. When a compliance issue came up unexpectedly in November, they had us covered the same day. Worth every baht.

Ariya Nuchprayoon
Operations Manager — Bangkok
We had a partnership agreement that had been drafted informally and needed proper legal structure. Orchid Accord redrafted it with attention to how Thai courts interpret partnership terms. The advisor was patient about explaining the changes and why they mattered practically.

James Loh
Director — Singapore-based firm, Thai operations
Our Singapore team needed a Thai subsidiary registered and operational quickly. The Orchid Accord team managed the coordination entirely, including liaising with the Thai Revenue Department on our behalf. Clear updates at every stage and no unpleasant surprises on completion.

Nantawan Rungrueang
Freelance Consultant — Chiang Mai
I am based in Chiang Mai and handled everything remotely. The process was straightforward — video call for the initial consultation, documents exchanged via email, and a plain-language summary I could actually read. A bit more time than I expected on one revision, but the outcome was solid.

Client Journeys
Three examples of how Orchid Accord has supported clients through specific legal challenges.
Case Study 01 · Contract Review
Challenge
A Bangkok-based retail startup had received a distribution agreement from a larger supplier. The document was lengthy and contained several clauses the founder did not fully understand, including an exclusivity provision and a unilateral termination clause.
Solution
Orchid Accord reviewed the agreement in full and produced a summary identifying the three highest-risk clauses. The team advised on alternative wording for the termination and exclusivity provisions and supported the client through one round of supplier negotiation.
Outcome
The agreement was revised with improved termination terms and a narrower exclusivity scope. The client signed with a clearer understanding of their obligations and reduced exposure. The engagement was completed within eight business days.
Case Study 02 · Business Registration
Challenge
An Australian technology consultancy wanted to establish a Thai entity to employ local staff and enter into contracts directly in Thailand. The founders had no prior experience with Thai corporate law and were uncertain about the appropriate structure.
Solution
Orchid Accord assessed the business model, advised on the appropriate entity structure, and managed the full registration process including Department of Business Development filing, tax registration, and a preliminary BOI assessment for potential future incentives.
Outcome
The Thai entity was operational in four and a half weeks. The client received a first-year compliance calendar and proceeded to the corporate counsel retainer for ongoing legal support as the business grew.
Case Study 03 · Corporate Retainer
Challenge
A mid-sized trading company in Bangkok was reviewing multiple commercial contracts each month, facing periodic regulatory questions, and had no in-house legal function. Legal costs were inconsistent and turnaround times unpredictable.
Solution
The corporate counsel retainer provided a named advisor who developed deep familiarity with the business over a six-month engagement. Monthly consultations addressed strategic questions, contracts were reviewed on a rolling basis, and regulatory changes were flagged prorchiidenctively.
Outcome
Legal costs became predictable and the business avoided two compliance issues that were identified prorchiidenctively during the engagement. The retainer has since been renewed for a second six-month term.
